ITINERARY
DAY 01: TOUR IN CHINCHERO, MARAS & MORAY
This day begins our adventure through the incredible landscapes of Cusco, we will start with your pick up from the hotel between 08:00 to 08:30 am, then head to the colorful village of Chinchero, where we will find Inca wall constructions and its small colonial church that awaits a lot of history, we will also have a small participation in the development of Andean textiles in a textile interpretation center where our brothers from the village of Chinchero will show us their ancestral art.
After this fascinating experience, we will continue our adventure to the famous circular cultivation terraces of Moray where our ancestors the Incas created a microclimate in order to find out the type of product for which each altitudinal floor was good for.
Continuing our journey we will descend to the salt mines of Maras, a picturesque place for its landscapes; here we will visit the more than 3000 salt wells that are produced, this salt was used by the Incas for their consumption.
Finally we will head to Ollantaytambo station to take the train to Aguas Calientes (the closest town to Machu Picchu). In Aguas Calientes we will rest and regain strength for the spectacular next day.
DAY 02: VISIT TO THE INCA CITADEL OF MACHU PICCHU
This day will be one of the best as we will visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World: Machu Picchu. Therefore we will take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, then we will check in with our entrance tickets and our passport.
Our guide will provide all the information and will take you to the most famous sites of the Inca citadel during 02 hours of guided "in situ", you will enjoy the Historic Sanctuary in all its splendor while capturing spectacular moments with your camera (if you have the income for Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain, you can do it after finishing the guided tour in the citadel of Machu Picchu).
After this incredible experience we will return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch (not included).
In the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, upon arrival a representative of the agency will be waiting for you and then be transferred to Cusco in our private transportation. Finally we will drop you off at your hotel.
