ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CUSCO - CITY TOUR

We will be waiting for your arrival at the airport to meet you and welcome you to the city of Cusco. We will take you to the hotel where you will stay for the next few days. In the afternoon you will visit the main places of the city, to start visiting Qoricancha which was one of the main temples in the time of the Incas, when the Spaniards arrived they built on top of the temple of the sun what is today the convent of Santo Domingo. In this way we continue with the visit to the archaeological centers of Saqsayhuaman, Qenqo and Tambomachay. We return to the hotel at 6:00 p.m. on average.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY (Chinchero, Moray, Salineras)

This day we start with Chinchero, it was an important Inca religious site or also called "town of the Rainbow"; visit its small colonial church and go to a house of textile interpretation in which you will learn the development and dyeing of wool with natural products such as minerals, plants and seeds; then visit the amazing circular terraces of Moray, where you will learn how these constructions were used to grow different products such as plants, tubers, etc. at different temperatures. We will go to the small town of Maras to go to the salt mines, this salt since ancient times was used for the consumption of the Incas and until now keeps feeding the population of Cusco.

In the afternoon we go to Ollantaytambo to board our train that will take us to Aguas Calientes.

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU

Start the day waking up early to have a delicious breakfast, then board the bus that will take us to Machupicchu, the average trip is about 25 to 30 minutes. Once in the historical sanctuary we will appreciate the beautiful sunrise in this magical place. The famous Machupicchu will capture you with the energy that emerges in each place, being one of the seven wonders of the world and a world heritage site. You can access to Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu mountain adding an extra amount (it is optional). In the afternoon we would be taking the train back to Ollantaytambo and consequently to the city of Cusco.

DAY 4: TRANSFER FROM YOUR HOTEL TO THE AIRPORT

In the morning you will have time to relax and visit some places in the city of Cusco.

At the end of our tour you will be transferred by our staff to the airport to take your flight.
