The Sacred Valley of the Incas gives us the opportunity to know one of the most important places in Cusco. During your tour we will be able to know the villages that include terraces (agricultural and ornamental), cultivated fields located near the famous Vilcanota River and a pleasant climate, making this valley a magical and very comfortable place. It is also an excellent alternative to acclimatize to the altitude if you are planning to visit Machu Picchu or other places.

The Sacred Valley Vip Tour is one of the most popular excursions in the region. The Sacred Valley of the Incas was a crucial area for the Incas and functioned as an agricultural, spiritual and political center for them.

ITINERARY

Cusco – Pisaq – Ollantaytambo – Moray – Salineras de maras – Chinchero

The Maras and Moray Sacred Valley tour begins after breakfast, with pick up from the hotel at 7:00 am. to go by bus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way to Pisac, we will stop at the Taray viewpoint to admire the view of the Sacred Valley.

This part of the valley is full of crops that dress the mountains like carpets. We will continue our tour of the Sacred Valley visiting the ruins of Pisaq, where our guide will transmit us the history of these impressive Inca ruins on the top of the mountain, we will also have a short stop at the market of Pisac, later we will visit Ollantaytambo, a picturesque city of the Inca foundation with remarkable water channels, stone streets, colorful dresses of the native people and the impressive fortress on the hill and the incredible temple of the sun at the top.

On our way back to Cusco we will visit the popular salt mines of Maras and the great experimental center of the Incas "Moray", just before the end of the Sacred Valley VIP Tour, we will have a last stop at one of the famous textile centers in Chinchero.

This is your opportunity to interact with the indigenous women to learn all the techniques and processes to make handmade textiles with alpaca and llama wool, then we arrive in Cusco around 6.30-7:00pm.

You will have the opportunity to learn about Inca history, culture and religion.

Enjoy the beautiful Andean landscapes, archaeological remains, flora and fauna.
